We provide consular assistance to Australian citizens and permanent residents travelling or living in Andorra, Equatorial Guinea and Spain. Our capacity to assist you is influenced by local laws and conditions, international rules governing consular work, and by the cooperation offered by persons and organisations outside the Australian Government.

The Australian Consulate in Barcelona

The Australian Consulate in Barcelona is moving to another location in the city. Due to this change, the Consulate will be closed on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 February 2023. It will reopen on Monday 20 February 2023 at its new address: Av. Diagonal 482, 5th floor.

The Visa Office at the Australian Embassy in Madrid closed on 30 June 2018. The Australian Embassy in Madrid has no visa function.
