Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the Australian Embassy cannot provide confidential information on Australian citizens or residents of Australia without their prior written consent.
If you wish to locate a person in Australia, you may be able to locate this person via the Australian Telephone Company's (Telstra) Telephone Directory (White Pages) if this person has a listed telephone number. Please access Telstra's website.
Alternatively, the International Red Cross can also assist in locating family members via www2.cruzroja.es.
